Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American Actress. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). Following that she enrolled in the Bratpack group and appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for over 20 years. Her film career began in early 1980s when she starred as a crime drama actress, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, where other actors were equally prominent, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Following her success with her debut film, she later appeared in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club has been hailed as one of the best high school films. Although the film's budget was only $1 million its profits exceeded $50 million. The actress also appeared on various television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. In April of 1980, it became an adolescent-oriented show. The other shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about an X-Men superhero, where she is an appearance. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her exceptional performances, which include an award from the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
