Forbes magazine recognized Addison Rae in August of 2020, as the most successful TikToker on the planet. In addition, she is among the most popular users on TikTok. Addison Rae has also become the most popular person on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. The first single she released, Obsessed, was released in 2021. In 2021 she released the single Obsessed. On the New Zealand Hot Singles chart it reached no. 4, and on YouTube it was the sixth most watched video. Addison Rae was also nominated for awards that are prestigious, such as The People's Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, and Kids' Choice Awards.
