Felicity Jones was born in the UK and is best known as the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at her 12th birthday and has appeared in numerous productions and TV shows. Her first job was as a television actress with The Treasure Seekers. Then she played the character of Ethel Hallow another television show known as The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. In her film debut Flashbacks of a Fool she was Young Ruth and went on to feature in several movies. In films like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she achieved fame for her role. She was nominated for an Oscar first-time because of her performance in the role of wife to Stephen Hawking as a character in The Theory of Everything. Jones her portrayal of Stephen Hawking's wife in the biopic, based on the life of Stephen Hawking, was highly praised both by viewers and critics. The film was followed by Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. Jones received the British Artist of 2016 award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, due to her extraordinary talent and contribution.
