Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik, in Iceland. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the first woman who has won in the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is a famous Icelanders CrossFit bodybuilder, athlete and media celebrity. She became famous for becoming the first woman to be the first person who taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. In addition, she is known for having won the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie and her siblings and parents were raised in Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young age Annie was an avid sporting fan, and she loved training. She took home numerous awards in competitions for school. Her first participation was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games in California in which she performed extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years (as of 2021). Her height stands at 5'7" and her weight is approximately about 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. Her performance was good in her initial races and placed in the first 10 in a field of 70. She was not able to win any awards which was why she ended 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She finished 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's instruction. After a year of CrossFit Games Annie was the winner of her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant display earned her the title. Annie has been the first woman to ever win repeatedly in CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. In addition, in 2014 she won a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded an Olympic bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is now a trainer and coach for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has led her to become the spokesperson for many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. Her own Youtube channel titled "Annie" that has over three thousand viewers. The channel has videos on the diet and training regimens as well as family life.
