Anna Kendrick is a popular American Oscar-nominated actress, who is known for her roles in several hit movies which include a supporting part in Twilight. The actress' acting career started as a teenager with High Society, the Broadway popular musical. She was awarded the Theatre World Award in recognition of her outstanding performance. Following that she performed in a second character in New York City Opera's production A Little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim. Then she went to the movies, and rose to fame as an actress for her performance in Twilight. In this romantic fantasy film, she played the friend of the main character. She portrayed the same role again for the film The Twilight Saga New Moon. She has also appeared several times on TV as a guest on episodes of programs like Fear Itself and Comedy Bang! Bang! Anna Kendrick was also a singer. She performed Cups as a cover for the music video and soundtrack of Pitch Perfect.
